VIDITalk Launches Video iPod-compatible Service

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 1, 2005--VIDITalk Corporation, a leading provider of video messaging software, today announced the release of a new feature that enables users to easily create and distribute video podcasts instantly, representing another medium for transmitting video messages.

According to Jori Clarke, CEO of SpectraCom Inc. and president of Circle 1 Network, an August 2005 Internet According to Kids Study found 12 percent of kids have iPods and 47 percent want iPods. With iPods a top priority gift this holiday season, VIDITalk anticipates a continued increase in personal videos generated in VIDITalk's video iPod-compatible format. The new video podcast feature will allow iPod users to create their own videos and incorporate other media and messaging into their podcasts.

According to Scott Krugman, vice president of the National Retail Federation, the iPod has now hit the "Top Toys List" for the first time this year. The Consumer Electronics Association expects people to spend $17 billion on consumer gadgets in the fourth quarter, led by sales of MP3 players, especially iPods. "The category is exploding," said Paul Braun, president of VIDITalk. "Portable media players like the iPod are becoming a must-have and more and more consumers - especially younger ones - are seeking multiple ways to use these devices. This is creating a huge demand for applications that can build on the current podcasting craze."

"The VIDI capability takes the popular and emerging personal 'broadcast' communication medium to a new level," said Braun. "We are just beginning to realize the potential of podcasting as a business and professional communication tool. VIDITalk will allow the current generation of audio-only podcasters to become video personalities."

VIDITalk(TM) software enables consumers and businesses to easily create video messages (VIDIs) on desktop or portable computers. They are instantly delivered around the world through streaming technology via the Internet to wired and wireless devices including computers, cell phones and PDAs - without downloads or attachments. With VIDITalk, messages can be sent using its built-in e-mail feature or sent through personal e-mail or instant messaging programs, or posted to Web sites and blogs.

VIDITalk users seeking to save VIDIs for future viewing can download a copy to their desktop and use the iTunes program to load it to their iPod. The VIDI is automatically formatted to adapt to the smaller video iPod screen, providing a clear, full motion video.

VIDITalk is specifically designed to enrich communications for consumers and industries, including Professional Services, Government and Defense, Healthcare, Media & Entertainment, Financial Services, Hospitality and Travel. VIDITalk clients include the Department of Defense, AIG, Avon, Georgia Pacific, Staubach Companies and many others. VIDITalk partners include Sprint, Lockheed, Capital Edge Learning, Itronix, and GTSI.
