VIDITALK SIGNS PCS AS GOVERNMENT RESELLER
NEW YORK, MARCH 3, 2005 -- VIDITalk Corp., a leading provider of video messaging software, announced today that it has signed a Reseller Agreement with Portable Computer Systems (PCS) for the distribution of its VIDITalk video software to PCS customers, including the US Army, Navy, and the Air Force.
VIDITalk’s President Paul Braun said “We are very pleased to have PCS as a partner as they have been very successful in delivering ruggedized mobile computing solutions to the military and government agencies. By integrating VIDITalk into notebook, and Tablet PCs, mobile users will now have the ability to create and send VIDI messages from the field.” PCS will be offering VIDITalk to its customers for applications including training, internal communications and MWR troop support.
Larry Aguilar, PCS President said, “We have already sold VIDITalk bundled with ruggedized notebooks from Itronix, to the Special Troop Battalion based at Ft. Hood, Texas. They are using it for unit communications to central command and to their families. Other Army units who have become aware of VIDITalk are now looking to add video capability to previously purchased equipment.”
VIDITalk software enables users to create video messages for use in applications such as email, blogs, presentations, web pages, and other electronic documents. The videos are streamed to the recipient, rather than being sent as attachments, requiring no downloads and are viewable on computers, PDAs, and media player equipped cell phones.
